Gap returns free#
Gift returns and exchanges are free when you use our prepaid return shipping label. Returning or Exchanging a Giftĭid you get a gift that's the wrong size or color? We can help you exchange it for another item or a gift card. If any item has arrived damaged, please contact our customer service center at 80 (From inside U.S.) or 61 (From outside the U.S.) to file a damage claim.Ĭlaims must be filed for third-party items sold with Gap within 48 hours of delivery.
Visit the returns portal and follow instructions to start the return process online. If an item sold and shipped by a third-party seller isn't quite right and is not final sale, it can be returned by mail directly to the seller. Items cannot be returned to Gap, Old Navy, Banana Republic, or Athleta in store. Tell a sales associate that you want to return the item. Bring the item in the package it was delivered in and either your shipping confirmation email (printed or on mobile device) or the original credit card used for purchase to the store. Check your shipping confirmation email first. Note: For items marked “Mail only”, merchandise must be returned by mail. For example, a Banana Republic online purchase can't be returned at Banana Republic Factory stores. Merchandise purchased online can't be returned to any of our Factory or Outlet stores. For example, if you bought an item on Gap.com, you can return it to a Gap retail store, but not to an Old Navy store. This letter should include details of the gap insurance balance.For Gap, Banana Republic, Old Navy, and Athleta items, you can return merchandise purchased online to the appropriate store. If you drop the coverage after paying off your car loan, you may also need to submit a copy of the payoff letter. This includes the forms you need to cancel, the forms you need for a refund, the odometer disclosure statement, and the proof of sale if you're selling or trading the vehicle. When canceling gap insurance provided by a dealership, you will need to submit many things to the insurer. In other cases, the dealer can provide the proper forms you need. In some cases, you can contact the insurer directly. If you are getting rid of your car, don't cancel gap insurance until after completing the sale or trade. Contact the lender to request the forms you need to request a gap insurance refund for the part you didn't use. You'll use this form to verify the miles. Get an odometer disclosure statement from the dealer.
